European Children and Youth Championship in Draughts 2019

Between 1-9 August 2019 in Warsaw, the XXI Youth European Championships in 100-squares took place. It is worth noting that the first edition of the championship also took place in the capital of Poland. The European Championship title was competed for by the representatives of 15 countries: Azerbaijan, Belgium, Belarus, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Ukraine and Italy. Chess & Checkers company had the pleasure to sponsor the Championships and support the players for nine days of checkerboard battles.

Chess & Checkers decided to financially support the organization of the event because checkers are close to the company's heart. It is a well-known fact that playing checkers improves concentration and develops the ability to think logically, which is key to maintaining full intellectual capacity.
